With over 20 years of experience in the hair industry, I felt called to expand my work and support clients on a deeper level. My passion for health and wellness led me into holistic haircare, scalp wellness, and trichology‑informed consulting — areas that felt instantly familiar. As a 40‑year‑old mom navigating hormonal changes and living with Type 2 Diabetes, I understand firsthand how internal health influences hair and scalp concerns.

I help clients in Dartmouth, Cole Harbour, Lake Echo, Porters Lake and neighboring towns, who are experiencing hair loss, scalp issues, or hair that needs rejuvenation. I focus on education, root‑cause awareness, and personalized care. I also live as chemical‑free as possible and believe in intentional choices that support the wellbeing of my home, my family, and the one vessel we each get to care for.

My Story

After graduating from Pictou Academy, I briefly attended Saint Mary’s University before realizing I wanted a more hands‑on, creative path. I enrolled in cosmetology school in Halifax and soon had the privilege of working with some of the city’s most respected salons and spas. Those early years shaped my foundation in hair artistry and client care.

Life took me to Alberta for a time, where I eventually stepped into entrepreneurship and spent six fulfilling years building a business I loved. When my husband and I returned home to Nova Scotia to renovate our last home, start our family, and settle into life in Lake Echo, a new chapter began to take shape.

Now, as both a stay‑at‑home mom and entrepreneur, The Rosemary Hair & Wellness Studio was born from the desire to blend my experience with my passion for holistic living. I specialize in fine hair, client education and holistic product offerings, while creating a calm, personalized experience. My work is rooted in connection, intention, and helping clients feel confident in their hair and overall wellbeing.
